Dear Hal,
Yes, I vividly remember you coming to our home to pray
for the healing of Muriel, our youngest daughter. Muriel
was diagnosed with a tumor on her right ovary, and every
test showed a suspicious malignancy. The ten days wait
for the surgery was to be a very difficult time for us.
As it turned out there was only a five day wait for
surgery, because of the urgency of her problem. Muriel
is a Christian and believes in the power or prayer,
therefore, when we suggested calling you to pray for her
healing she consented.
You came immediately when we called for the Lord's help.
During and following your prayer, we all were blessed in
knowing that Muriel had been healed by God. The
following morning she went into surgery. Several hours
later, the surgeon and pathologist came to us and
reported that when the pathologist received the mass to
be biopsied, he stated that in all the years he had
biopsied tissue he had never seen anything like it, and
was sure it was cancer. To his astonishment, the biopsy
proved benign for a malignancy! !
Praise Almighty God for His goodness and mercy.
Thank you, Hal, for your obedience to the Lord when He
called you into
His healing ministry. What would we have done without
His faithful disciple?
