In August, 1998, my mammogram indicated there was a spot that looked suspicious. The doctor sent me to have a core biopsy. The report came back positive. Thereupon the surgeon recommended an excisional biopsy to remove the cancer tissue and cells. A recent pathologist's report stated that there was no residual tumor so radiation may not be necessary.

Through this whole procedure, I was upheld in prayer by our Minister, friends, and family with their prayers, love, support, and concern. I knew God was in charge and felt His presence during this entire procedure. I am optimistic that God will continue His healing process and that I am going to be all right.

Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed, for uphold you with My righteous right hand."

Hal's Note: Among others, Bill and Becky Hitt, students of the prayer and healing class, prayed for Mary Lou through the laying on of hands.
